Child Worker Sentenced to Life In Prison for Child Porn

Here is an interesting link to Cnn.com.  This is an article concerning a child counselor who was sentenced to life in prison for his involvement in a child pornography ring.  This sentence shows that the courts are really starting to crack down on child pornography.  This is a very interesting case because the defendant is a person who worked with kids everyday, and was trusted with kids everyday.  This case shows that parents really need to be aware of the people around their kids.  Parents need to know that these kinds of people are out there, and they need to know that these types of peoples are real threats to society as a whole, and these people need to be proscecuted to the greatest extent of the law.  There is something to be said that this case take place in California.  California seems to be the most leinant place concerning porn, and for such a harsh sentence to come out of such a liberal state, really makes a statement about the severity of child porn.
